Connecting to a Server

To connect to an ARK: Survival Evolved server, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Obtain the Server IP Address Get the IP address of the server you want to connect to. You can obtain this information from the server administrator or the server listing platform.

Step 2: Launch ARK: Survival Evolved Launch the ARK: Survival Evolved game on your computer or console.

Step 3: Click “Join ARK” On the main menu, click on the “Join ARK” button.

Step 4: Filter and Select Server

  1. In the “Server Filter” section, choose the desired filter options, such as map, game mode, or server name, to narrow down the server list.
  2. Alternatively, you can use the search bar to enter the server name or IP address directly.

Step 5: Connect to the Server

  1. Once you’ve filtered or found the server you want to join, select it from the server list.
  2. Click on the “Join” or “Connect” button next to the server details.

Step 6: Enter Server Password (if applicable) If the server you’re connecting to has a password set, you will be prompted to enter it. Input the server password provided by the server administrator.

Step 7: Wait for Connection ARK: Survival Evolved will now attempt to connect you to the server. Wait for the connection process to complete. This may take a few moments, depending on your internet connection.

Step 8: Character Selection and Spawn Point

  1. After successfully connecting to the server, you’ll be directed to the character selection screen. Choose an existing character or create a new one.
  2. Select your desired spawn point on the map.

Step 9: Start Playing Once you’ve selected a character and spawn point, you will be placed into the ARK: Survival Evolved world on the chosen server. You can now start playing and interacting with other players on the server.

Remember to follow any specific server rules or guidelines set by the server administrator to ensure a positive gaming experience for everyone on the server.

Note: If you’re experiencing difficulties connecting to a server, make sure you have a stable internet connection, and check if any firewall or antivirus software is blocking the game’s connection. Additionally, ensure that you have the correct server IP address and any required server passwords.
